The California Correctional Peace Officers Association (CCPOA) Primary Dental Program is a fee-for-service discount plan and CCPOA has negotiated with a network of over 17,000 dentists in California, including the Case Dental Group. Within the Primary Dental Program is another program called First Dental Health, available to members in our area. First Dental Health claims to have the best discounts out of all dental providers. You must contact your plan to see if you are within the First Dental Health Area and are eligible to receive additional savings through the CCPOA Primary Dental Plan. The plan also has two networks for members. The PPO network offers patients the freedom to choose any dentist. The EPO network is smaller, but offers greater savings. Since we are in-network, patients selecting our Elk Grove dentists with the CCPOA dental insurance enjoy significant savings when they need preventative or specialized treatment. The plan has a $2000 yearly maximum for services per patient. The yearly deductible is $50 per patient and $150 for a family of four, so this plan provides cost savings for the whole family and offers a year maximum for services that is higher than most insurance offerings. The Primary Dental plan also has 100% coverage for preventative services.
